Bad Movie, Worse Audience

Went to see the movie Funny People last night. Sadly, the movie sucked. John of The Movie Blog.Com explains what's wrong with this EPIC 2 and 1/2 hour long, self-indulgent misuse of talent.

What this post is about, however, is behavior at the movie theater. For most of the first hour of this endurance test, a row of twenty-ish morons decided that they would rather talk to each other than pay attention to the movie. This culminated with one of these inconsiderate morons actually smoking a cigarette, like it's not 2009. Unreal. Finally, over halfway through this never ending travesty, security kicked them out. No surprise so many people are staying home and just watching Netflix.
