Busy Night For Obama

by Jay Allbritton
Turns out the Obamercial, which is drawing strong reviews, was just the beginning of a busy and late night for Barack Obama.

Obama campaigned earlier tonight in my old stomping grounds--Broward County.

After that rally, he linked up with Jon Stewart for an interview on The Daily Show.

Not to be outdone, Stephen Colbert decided to steal back some of his fellow conservatives thunder and endorse Barack Obama.

Then...

After 11pm, actually right about the same exact time Obama's Daily Show interview aired, Bill Clinton took the stage at a late rally in Central Florida. Bubba was great, nailing down the type of high octane endorsement that Chris Rock and I wanted to hear a while back. Obama followed with one of his high quality performances. He dropped in the "shared my toys" line that he's been using and I swear Bill Clinton looked like he was going to shit his pants laughing. It may have been forced camaraderie between the two, but I don't think so. It looked very natural.

It was a good night for the campaign, especially in Florida.
