In my youth we talked about a revolution, and it was mighty unrealistic. Then McGovern came along and represented a compromise between "the revolution" and American politics.
McGovern never had a snowball's chance in hell. But Barack Obama has more than a good chance-he's our next President if every youth who is dissatisfied with America's direction registers to vote and then votes. Just remember what happened in 2004, and in 2000 when the election was stolen.
It's not over until the fat man sings. You can go back to slacking off after the election.
