U.S. Drops China From Human Rights List

by Jay Allbritton
We dropped China from our little list of human rights abusers. We also did not add ourselves. Turns out that we did add Syria, Uzbekistan and Sudan. Hey wait, that's The Sudan to you. Speaking of the Sudan, Air America's Thom Hartmann is doing his radio show from Darfur on Friday to raise awareness about the massive slaughter and displacement of human beings going on over there.

Back to China, if you're not sure why China should be on the list, Bjork is trying to tell you something.

That little moment of defiance at a concert in Shanghai royally pissed off the Chinese government and whoever else they told to be pissed off by it. Guess she didn't hear the news about them not abusing humans any more. Just like they're not mass murdering cats to clean up the streets right before the Olympics either. Wonderful choice of venue, just dandy.

It's likely those cats will become someone's dinner, just as cows, pigs, chickens, etc. in the good old USA and elsewhere share the same fate.

I thought dinner was dinner.

I'm not real sure what the relationship between human and cat is like in China. It just seems like they'll do anything, no matter who or what it hurts or kills to get "ready" to host this stupid sporting event.
