Alice Cooper---School's Out

by Hector Diego

One wonders if Cooper is not complaining about learning so much as he is commenting about school itself--being forced to learn whatever his teachers wanted him to learn when they wanted him to learn it.

They say that the real Alice Cooper is a fairly literate, intelligent guy, and a history buff. Apparently he just couldn't stand holding his mouth open so they could shovel it in.

Any American should be able to understand that. Or at least, any kid.

School's out for the summer, man. 1972.
