American Artist---Elvis Aaron Presley (1935---1977)

by Hector Diego
Just as Aaron, Moses' brother, was the high priest of the Hebrews, so was Elvis Aaron Presley the high priest of rock and roll. You youngsters may not understand this fascination--The King was even before my time, I was born in the year of this performance--but Elvis kicked out the jams, and that's a fact. It seems he was "responsible for all kinds of juvenile delinquincy", such as leaving the door open for black performers on the national scene. Such a crime.

You all know that the Beatles, especially John, worshiped The King. That doesn't mean that you have to as well, but you can't understand the Beatles without checking out Elvis. His story is actually rather tragic, like so many of the greats.

What's up with those white socks?
